Aurania – Cancellation and Refund Policy

General Terms
This Cancellation and Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs all purchases made through the Aurania website (www.aurania.store). By placing an order on our platform, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set forth in this Policy. This Policy is governed by the applicable laws of India.
Before Shipment
We understand that plans can change. If you wish to cancel your order before it has been shipped, simply reach out to our customer care team at hello@aurania.store or via WhatsApp at +91 9108159150.
Once your cancellation is confirmed, a full refund will be processed to your original payment method within 2–3 business days.
After Shipment
Once your order has been shipped, cancellations are no longer possible. However, you may initiate a return or exchange in line with our Return Policy.
Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.
We kindly request you to inspect your package upon delivery. If you notice any visible damage, a missing Proof of Delivery (POD) sleeve, or signs of tampering, we recommend not accepting the package.
Refusal of Delivery
Should an order be refused at the time of delivery, we reserve the right to restrict Cash on Delivery (COD) as a payment option for any future purchases.
Partial COD Charges
At Aurania, we aim to offer both convenience and confidence when you shop with us. Our Partial Cash on Delivery (Partial COD) option allows you to secure your order with a small advance payment, with the remaining balance due at delivery. This ensures smoother processing and builds mutual trust, while maintaining a premium, secure shopping experience for all.
At Aurania, trust is at the heart of everything we do. Our Partial Cash on Delivery (Partial COD) option was introduced as a thoughtful balance—offering you greater flexibility while helping us manage the real costs that come with every order. Each confirmed order sets several processes in motion, when an order is cancelled, even before it leaves our studio, the resources already invested—time, labour, and materials—cannot be recovered. For a small, independent business like ours, these costs quickly add up and impact our ability to serve our community with excellence.
The Partial COD advance is treated as a non-refundable service charge, not as a penalty, but as a way to uphold shared responsibility. It allows us to continue offering flexible payment options while preserving the quality, craftsmanship, and thoughtful experience you’ve come to expect from Aurania.

Return & Exchange Policy
At Aurania, every piece is crafted and packed with love and attention to detail. We understand, however, that certain situations may call for a return or exchange. Our policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and mindful of both customer experience and the care that goes into each order.
Return & Exchange Eligibility
To maintain the integrity of our pieces and ensure the safety of all customers, returns and exchanges are accepted under the following conditions:
- Items must beunused, unworn, and returned in their original packaging, including all tags, pouches, and accessories.
- Requests must be initiatedwithin 24 hours of receiving the order.
- Only products received in a damaged or defective condition are eligiblefor return or exchange.
- All such claimsmust be supported by an unboxing video clearly showing:
- The unopened package with thePOD sleeve and shipping label visible.
- The full unboxing process in the same condition the parcel was received.
- Any damage or missing items inside the package.

Important
- Pleasedo not accept the delivery if the POD sleeve is missing or appears tampered with.
- Single-product imageswill not be considered valid proof for return or exchange requests.
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and customization reasons, the following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Earrings or any jewellery that involves direct skin contact (unless damaged in transit)
- Customised or personalised piecesmade to order
How to Return
If your item meets the eligibility criteria above, please follow the steps below:
- Email us athello@aurania.store with:
- Yourorder number
- A briefdescription of the issue
- The requiredunboxing video with the shipping label clearly visible
- Upon approval, we’ll provide return instructions or a return shipping label.
- In most cases, apickup will be scheduled by our logistics partner.
- In rare instances where reverse pickup is unavailable, customers may need to return the item to our address, using the original packaging.
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is confirmed as defective or damaged upon arrival.
Refunds
As a small business, we currently do not offer refunds. Instead, eligible returns will be compensated through Store Credits, issued as follows:
- Store Credits are processed within5–7 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.
- Credits are shared via email and can be redeemed on future purchases with no expiration.
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to a fault on our part (e.g., wrong or damaged item).
Exchanges
We’re happy to exchange items for the same design, size, or style—subject to availability.
If your requested item is unavailable, we will issue Store Credits to be used at your convenience.
Damaged or Defective Items
We sincerely apologise if your order arrives damaged. In such cases:
- Please notify us within24 hours of delivery by emailing hello@aurania.store
- Include theunboxing video as outlined above
- Once verified, we will offer areplacement or Store Credits, including any applicable shipping costs
Exceptions & Limitations
To protect the integrity of our return process, we reserve the right to decline any return, exchange, or refund if:
- The item shows signs of wear, misuse, or alteration
- The unboxing video is missing or insufficient
- There is evidence of fraudulent or repeated abusive return behaviour
